Selective cup coating

Dipping coating is not useful for certain boards, since lots of parts, e.g. plugs, must be left blank, or the board has to be coated on one side only. You can make use of another procedure here: Selective coating with form cup. Maurer & Thoma developed, in co-operation with a French company, special patented form cups made of silicone, which are specifically adaptable to each board type. Only the desired area is painted, the rest remains lacquer-free. The advantage of this procedure is, that complex masking work on the boards is no more necessary. The form cups must only be cleaned once a day.

For small amounts Maurer & Thoma offers the M & T 1 system, which is operated manually. It consists of a dipping basin, an overflow basin and a pump for the coating material. M&T 10 additionally works with a lifting- and lowering device with workpiece retainer and is controlled with SPS.

We offer the M&T 50 system for larger amounts of items to be coated, with control device to adjust dipping parameters like dipping speed, submergence etc.. It can optionally be extended with dry section, Handler for entrance and exit, air-locks for nitrogen etc.. All dipping machines can also coat selectively.
